Fighter's Mentality

"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
